Ryan Suter's Hackey Sack Goal Against Nashville? (Video)

As the game between the Ducks and Predators wound down on Thursday night, Nashville's Ryan Suter scored the Ducks fourth goal with 26 seconds left in the game with an odd kicking motion. The goal was credited to Corey Perry who had two goals in the contest.

Barry Trotz commented on the play after the game, "I wished he would have used his hand, either catch it or do it... (hand motion). When the game is like that (head shake)... It was a hell of a kick though!"

Trotz also cleared up what happened on Teemu Selanne's second five on three goal at 15:14 in the third period. "It actually went off Sutes. He stuck his arm out and it hit his glove and he redirected it so Sutes got two goals today."

This morning, after the fact, Suter's two goals are all fun and games but during the heat of the moment, they produced a very tense final 26 seconds of the game that the Predators won 5-4.
