Here is a Unique Realignment Idea From The Chicago Tribune

With all the talk about Nashville, Detroit or Columbus moving to the Eastern Conference in the NHL, Bob Foltman of the Chicago Tribune goes outside the box to take a trip back in time to the four division setup from the 80's when the first two rounds of the playoffs were within the division.

This isn't as unique as you'd think, Mike Santos said on the radio here in Nashville recently that he's actively pitching that idea to other NHL executives.

It is by far my favorite option, and the best way to establish real rivalries within the divisions.
