The Nashville Predators have finalized their opening day roster and in spite of what Mattias Ekholm's agent reported earlier, it appears that he will start the season in the NHL.
As expected, Kyle Wilson was assigned to Milwaukee after passing through the waiver process. Francis Bouillon and Mike Fisher are officially being placed on Injured Reserve so their return a minimum of a week away.
The Predators will leave for Columbus on Thursday after practices the next two mornings at Centennial. After games in Columbus on Friday, and St. Louis on Saturday, they will return to Nashville to prepare for the home opener on October 13 against Phoenix.
