POTG NHL Seven Stories: "Goon" It Up Edition


  1. The beat goes on as it was announced that Sidney Crosby will not play against the Avalanche in Pittsburgh tonight. Since it has been said that he will play his first game at home, that moves the next possible date to next Monday against the Islanders.

  6. The NHL General Managers are meeting today in Toronto for their Fall meeting where they will decide what rule changes to study prior to their meeting in the Spring where recommendations are considered. They will also discuss realignment, but only in an advisory capacity.
  7. Damien Cox says that the NHL is ready to unload the Phoenix Coyotes or move them.
