Monday's NHL Race for the Cup

Here are today's updated facts and figures from NHL Media Services on the playoff races in the NHL.

No teams can clinch in tonight's limited action with only two games on tap. In the East, Washington plays at Tampa Bay, and in the West Edmonton plays at Los Angeles.

The race in the East appears to really only involve Florida and Washington fighting for the Southeast Division title, and Buffalo hoping to get past Washington to make the top eight.

The West is much less decided with a battle for the conference lead, a jumble in the middle, and a fight for the last two slots which also includes the Pacific Division title.

The President's Trophy has also come down to a battle between the New York Rangers, Vancouver, and St. Louis.
